Featured Wedding Venue: Evergreen Village

The Evergreen Village, near Niverville, is blanketed in snow right now but in a few short months it will look like the photos below. Going through their website has made me even more excited for summer, and most of all, for wedding season! In the Winnipeg area, there are not that many options to have a wedding with an outdoor ceremony, indoor reception and lots of room to mingle and take pictures. The Evergreen Village is a location that I recommend to brides over and over because it is only 25 minutes south of the city, it's a beautiful property with good food and great service, lots of parking, a whole house for the bridal party to get ready/freshen up and a fantastic tent reception/dance area. If you are looking for a family-friendly outdoor venue, please consider the Evergreen Village.

The Evergreen Village is absolutely fabulous. I have the chance to meet the owners when they were first opening many years ago. Their location is perfect for a private affair without having to travel far from the city and having gorgeous outdoor ceremony spaces, indoor reception areas and a great overnight stay option all in one place is such a time (and travel) saver!

At the evergreen village, do they have a dedicated caterer that youi must use, or are you free to use whomever you would like?

Anonymous - The Evergreen Village does have an onsite caterer, but you can bring in your own caterer if you would like to. The cost is $3750-$4500, and covers use of the facility for the ceremony and reception, including set up, clean up,linens, lights, greenery, select decor and full access to the house on the property and the kitchen, yard and reception tent Here's the link to the contract: http://www.theevergreenvillage.com/pdf/site-only-contract.pdf.

The cost seems high until you add up all the little things that are included. Let me know if you have any other questions by posting a question here or emailing celebrate@withaflourish.ca. Happy planning!

Thank you for your help, that sounds great! The cost seems reasonable. Thank you for looking into that for me.
